Connect the Dots

1.) Writer/former CIA operative Peter Matthiessen admits the Paris Review was founded with CIA money, but just can't seem to remember the details!

2.) Matthiessen just won the National Book Award.

Oh my God, and look who chose the National Book Award! Gail Godwin! A CIA stooge!

And look how much money you get when you win the National Book Award! Ten thousand dollars! At last, Matthiessen's years of conspiring have paid off and he's now gotten an amount of money there's no way he could have earned honestly. Ten thousand dollars! Think of it!

?? Ten thou is a large sum of money to many right now. But I'm sure PM is more interested in the recognition and prestige.
p.s. If everything is open and above-board in literature-- why are you hiding?
Don't you think it's time to explain yourself??
Why have you been so troubled by this obscure blog?
Who do you work with or for??
